This type of diagnosis is most commonly seen in: (3)
- Younger patients involved in overhead activities particularly volleyball, baseball, tennis, basketball, and swimming.
- Any patient with a history of rotator cuff tear or, more important, failed rotator cuff surgery.
- - Traction injury
- - Compression of the nerve
- - soft tissue; bone tumor; cyst
- - Ossification of the transverse scapular ligament or spinoglenoid ligament
