- Manual Muscle testing for C5-8
- Sensory examination- looking for a dermatome pattern of diminished or lost
- DTR- looking for asymmetry

- Manual Distraction- positive if reduction of neck or limb symptoms
- Upper limb tension test- used to differentiate between neural and non-neural structures
- Bakody’s sign
